Welcome to the online home of the National Karate Association Scotland (NKA). The National Karate Association is an association of clubs formed to represent Scottish Karate. All Karate clubs are accepted into membership regardless of the style of Karate practised.  All instructors from the member clubs are insured and have enhanced disclosure from Disclosure Scotland.

The National Karate Association Scotland is the founding Scottish representative recognised by the World Union of Karate-do Organizations (WUKO). WUKO serves as a governing body for worldwide Karate of all styles and backgrounds.

The National Karate Association Scotland have supported WUKO since its re-birth in July 2005.  The NKA take great pleasure and acknowledge the benefits received from WUKO in the areas of technical development and in competition Karate. Above all this, the friendships which have been made through international relations are indispensable.
